We use three different typologies of tactile maps and drawings to provide a comprehensive guide to<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. the layout of the Sferisterio,<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. the location of the theatre within the city,<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. the key elements of set design<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Tactile explorations are structured around three main steps. First, visitors read the braille lettering on the top of the map\/drawing. Then, they get familiar with the overall map\/drawing by quickly touching the whole surface. Finally, they focus on each element of the map\/drawing, going from general to particular and vice versa. <\/span><\/p>\n
