Macerata Opera Festival 2025<\/h2>\n

From 18 July to 10 August 2024 at Arena Sferisterio with La vedova allegra<\/em>, Rigoletto<\/em> and Macbeth<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Tickets on sale from 13 December, 2024. At the box office in Macerata and online<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The 61th edition of the Macerata Opera Festival will be held at the Arena Sferisterio from 18 July to 10 August, 2025, opening with La vedova allegra<\/em> by Franz Leh\u00e1r, never performed before in this venue (shows will be on 18 and 27 July, 2 and 9 August). A symbol of the historic and artistic change between the Nineteenth and Twentieth century, this work will be presented in a brand new production, along with two masterpieces by Giuseppe Verdi, i.e. Rigoletto<\/em> (19 and 25 July, 3 and 8 August) and Macbeth<\/em> (26 July, 1, 7 and 10 August), revamped in the form of two, widely appraised Sferisterio productions signed by Federico Grazzini and Emma Dante.
\nPerformances are scheduled to allow audiences to watch different shows over each weekend. Macerata Opera Family 2024<\/h2>\n

Many adhesions and enthusiasm for the activities to involve students in the Macerata Opera Festival programme: \u2018Lo Sferisterio a scuola\u2019 from 27 May to 8 June at the Lauro Rossi Theatre and the Sferisterio.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Over 14,000 admissions are expected for the performances Turandot. Enigmi al museo<\/em>, inspired by Giacomo Puccini’s masterpiece (from 4 to 8 June at 8.45 pm) at the Sferisterio and Il piccolo principe: un viaggio tra le stelle<\/em> by Vincenzo Ruggiero, at the Lauro Rossi Theatre, from 27 May to 1 June (4.30 pm, 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm – on the 29th also at 3.30 pm).

S’intende l’opera all’aperto senza cadere nella solita modalit\u00e0 turistico-kolossal-che ci frega tanto l’importante sono le voci. Prendete lo Sferisterio di Macerata. Meraviglioso stadio per il gioco del pallone di Leopardi, con i suoi palchi neoclassici e un soffitto di stelle, da un paio di gestioni a qui offre cartelloni importanti e stimolanti, insomma pensati, con tutto un contorno di incontri, feste, iniziative, notti bianche e chiassi vari che riescono a coinvolgere il pubblico locale e a fidelizzare quello d’importazione. Risultato: il MOF, Macerata Opera Festival, \u00e8 diventato uno di quelli da non perdere.<\/p>\n
